Arrogant Elephant and Ant Story!!

An elephant lived in a forest who was very proud of his strength. He would destroy the nest of birds or uproot the entire trees. Sometimes he used to pick monkeys and thrash them and sometimes would trample rabbits under his feet.

All animals were upset with him but could not do anything in front of his power.

One day, the elephant was returning after drinking water from the river. At the same time, there was an anthill under a tree on the bank of the river. Nearby ants were busy in their work, working hard to collect food.

Elephant saw this and filled water in his trunk and then poured all that on the anthill. The anthill was destroyed. Ants were not able to say anything to the elephant due to fear even after their house was destroyed.

But among them, an ant got very angry and said to the elephant, "What have you done? You destroyed our house. Where shall we go now?"

Listening to the ant, the elephant said, "Leave. Otherwise, I will crush you under my feet."

Ant said again without fear, "You should not trouble others like this. When someone will bother you then you will understand."

"Who will bother me? What harm can you do to me? I am the most powerful animal in this jungle. No one dares to say anything to me. You have made this mistake for the first time. That's why I will let you go. But if you ever dare to say anything to me again, you will be killed.", the elephant spoke threateningly.

Ant became silent at that time.

The same evening, when the elephant was sleeping very comfortably under a tree the ant entered his trunk and started biting.

The elephant who was sleeping comfortably, woke up in pain and began to shake his trunk here and there while trembling. Seeing this, the ant started biting him even more.

Pain became unbearable for the elephant and he started crying loudly and started calling for help.

Animals heard his pain but who would come to his aid? He had troubled everyone in the forest. Ant kept biting him and he kept crying out in pain.

At last, exhausted he fell to the ground and started crying, "Why are you troubling me? What wrong have I done to you?"

Hearing this, the ant said, "I am the same ant, whose house you destroyed. Now, do you understand how others feel when you bother them?"

Crying the elephant said, "I have learned my lesson. I apologize to you and promise that I will never trouble anyone again. I will live together with everyone with love."

Ant felt pity for the elephant and forgave him. Ant came out of the elephant's trunk, and from that day onwards the elephant's behavior changed. He apologized to all the animals of the forest for his actions and promised that he would never trouble them again.

Flash: Arrogance and pride reflect an unhealthy ego in need of repair. It is better to be humble and respect others even if someone is not powerful as you. The elephant was so obsessed with his powerful strength that he was not able to understand that even a creature as small as an ant can also create havoc and make things difficult for him. This shows how an animal as powerful as an elephant can succumb to begging in the face of adversity.

Moral: One should never disturb others in vain and live in harmony with everyone. The arrogance of being more powerful than others will lead to their own downfall. It is essential to use your power wisely and responsibly and to never forget that your actions have consequences.

"Pride of an arrogant person definitely breaks at some point."
