Life Tied With Threads!!
Once a son asked his father, "What is a successful life?"
Father didn't answer and took his son to fly a kite. Father was flying a kite and son was carefully watching him.
After sometime, the son said, "Father, because of this thread, this kite is not able to go up further, shall we break it? If we break the thread then this kite can go higher."
Father broke the thread as his son said.
After that, they both started watching that kite. They saw that, at first kite went a little higher but after sometime it came down fluttering and fell to an unknown place.
After this, the father looked at his son and said, "Son, in life, when we are at heights and getting success, we often feel, that we are tied with (the ties like home, family, parents, teacher, etc)" and they are stopping us from going higher.
That's why, we want to get free from those ties.
But son, the fact is, there are these threads that keep us at that height.
Without these threads, we will go up for a short period, but later we will be having the same fate as the kite had without any threads.
So, in life, if you want to remain on heights, never break the threads of relationships.
Flash:- The story teaches us to appreciate and value the importance of relationships in the organization as they help in gaining experience with their personal experiences. Once we reach success and heights, these connections provide support, guidance, and a sense of belonging, which are essential for maintaining success in the long run. So, rather than breaking away from the relationships, it is important to nurture and cherish them because only these threads will help us to remain at the same heights which we have achieved in life.
Moral:- In life, achieving success may lead us to feel restricted by our relationships and responsibilities. We might have the urge to break them and get free from those ties to soar even higher. However, just like the kite that fluttered down after the thread was broken. We might come up with the same situation without any support and connections. We may not sustain that success for long.
