The Power of Differences- A Journey Across the Pond
Once upon a time, a mouse and a frog were the best of friends. Though they were different in many ways, these differences only enriched their friendship. The mouse, nimble and quick, knew the intricacies of the forest, while the frog, agile in the water, was the master of the pond.
One day, the frog invited the mouse to visit his home across the pond. The mouse, excited to see a new world, was unsure of how to get there since he couldn’t swim. Understanding his friend’s concern, the frog proposed a plan that would allow them to work together: the frog would use his swimming ability to navigate the water, and the mouse would guide them with his sharp eyes and knowledge of the surroundings.
They tied their legs together, and the frog carefully pulled the mouse across the pond. As they moved through the water, the mouse spotted obstacles and dangers that the frog couldn’t see, while the frog expertly navigated the depths. They communicated and adjusted their course, combining their strengths to reach the other side safely.
On the shore, they celebrated their successful journey, realising that their diverse skills had made the adventure possible. The mouse marvelled at the wonders of the pond, and the frog appreciated the new perspective the mouse brought. Together, they had discovered that their different abilities complemented each other perfectly.
