Not All Heroes Speak

In a small village by a river, there was a clay pot named Matka and a jute rope named Rassi. They belonged to a farmer who grew juicy melons. Matka sat by the well, round and strong, holding water for the farmer to drink. Rassi hung on a nail, tough and tight, tying the farmer's cart or pulling buckets.

Matka and Rassi were loyal to the farmer. "I give him water every day," Matka said happily. "I hold things so he trusts me," Rassi said firmly. They never left their place, always ready to help, no matter what.

One year, the river became a trickle. The well dried up, and the melons turned small. The farmer looked tired. Villagers said, "Get a new pot, buy a better rope - your old ones are no good." Matka felt heavy with worry, his clay dusty. Rassi's ends split, but she stayed quiet.

One night, a sneaky jackal came to steal the farmer's last melons. Matka saw him creeping. "Rassi, we can't let our farmer down!" he whispered. Rassi twisted tight. "I'm with you, Matka. Let's stay true."

Matka tipped himself a little, splashing water from his side onto the ground. The jackal slipped in the wet mud, surprised. Rassi slid off her nail, looping around the jackal's paw. He tripped and yelped, loud enough to wake the farmer. The farmer ran out with a stick and chased the jackal away.

In the morning, he saw the muddy path and Rassi's knot. "My Matka and Rassi!" he laughed, brushing them clean. "You stayed loyal to me." The villagers stopped complaining. The farmer polished Matka till he sparkled and tied Rassi's ends neat.

Matka and Rassi never bragged. They went back to their spots, ready for the farmer's next need. Their loyalty kept his melons safe and his heart strong. The jackal never returned, knowing some things - like a pot and a rope - never betray their friend.

Flash: This story reminds us to stay loyal to our family, friends, or work, even when things get tough. Like Matka and Rassi, we can stand by those who count on us, making a difference with small, faithful acts every day.

Moral: Loyalty is a quiet strength. Staying true to those we care for builds trust and protects what matters.

Loyalty does not waver when the storm comes!!
